Documents Required for SC/ST Certificate
Following documents have to be furnished for getting SC/ST certificate in Delhi:
Application Form
Aadhaar Number, if it is not available, provides anyone identity proof such as PAN or Passport or Driving Licence or Voters Card
Copy of SC/ST certificate of father, sister, brother or of his/her blood relative from the paternal side
Self-declaration in case of SC/ST certificate issued from outside Delhi in prescribed Performa rate (If the children are below the 18 years, a self-declaration from the major have to be produced)
Marriage Certificate for married women
Present residential proof like Voters Card, Water Bill, Electricity Bill, Telephone Bill etc.
Proof of Date of Birth (School certificate or Birth certificate or passport)
Documents Required for OBC Certificate
Along with above mentioned documents, applicant have to furnish some of other documents:
A copy of OBC certificate of father, brother, sister or of his/her blood relative from the paternal side, if available.
Two attestations by MP/MLA/Councillor/Gazetted Officers, declaring the caste of the applicant and continuous stay in Delhi since 1993.
Residence Certificate
Family income proof (Salary Slip/Form-16/ITR etc.)
Note: All documents have to be attested by MP/MLA/Gazetted Officer.
Applicable fee
This service does not require any payment for processing the certificate.
Caste Certificate
Caste certificate is an important legal document that validates that a person belongs to a particular religion, community and caste. Citizens of Delhi can obtain a caste certificate to avail of the numerous kinds of facilities offered by the Governments that are targeted at a specific category of persons. Certificate is predominantly obtained by persons of reserved categories such as Schedule Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) to establish their candidature.Â
Income Certificate
Income Certificate is an official document issued by the State Government which certifies an annual income of a family. It includes details pertaining to the income of an individual or a family that is earned from various sources.Â
Documents Required to obtain Income Certificate
The following documents must be submitted to obtain Delhi income certificate:
One passport size photograph of the applicant
Aadhar card copy
Previous income certificate, if any (optional)
BPL Ration / National Food Security Card
Relevant document of expenditure such as rent receipts/electricity bill
The applicant must have a signed copy of the self-declaration along with the application form
Address proof
Marriage Certificate
Documents Required to obtain Marriage Certificate
Identity proof – Bride and Groom.
Date of Birth Proof – Bride and Groom.
Address Proof Before Marriage – Bride and Groom.
Address Proof After Marriage – Bride and Groom.
Identity Proof of Witness.
Permanent Resident Proof of Witness.
Delhi Domicile Certificate
Affidavit as prescribed in Annexure-I of the domicile certificate form.
Identity Proof (Aadhar card, Voter ID card, Ration Card, etc.)
Resident Proof (Electricity bill, water bill, telephone bill, etc.)
A copy of Birth Certificate.
Proof of the applicant owning a land.
Passport size colour photograph.
Applicant must be a resident of Delhi for the past three years.
Applicant must own a house/property/land in Delhi.
Applicant’s name should be included in the voter list.
Female applicants can apply for the certificate if their spouse is a resident of Delhi.
In the case of minors, the certificate is issued based on their parents’ residence.
Legal Heir Certificate/ Surviving Member Certificate
A Legal Heir Certificate also known as Surviving Member Certificate is issued to prove the right legal heirs left behind by the deceased person. This Certificate is generally required as proof of surviving AÂ Legal Heir Certificate, also known as Surviving Member Certificate, is issued to prove the right legal heirs left behind by the deceased person. This Certificate is generally required as proof of surviving members to avail benefits from various places and in government services where surviving members are preferred. A Legal Heir Certificate consists of details like name, age, relationship with the deceased and photograph of all surviving family members.
To establish a relationship with the deceased;
To establish claim over the deceased’s assets, movable and immovable;
To claim employee benefits of the deceased like family pension, PF, gratuity, etc.;
To claim insurance of the deceased;
To avail benefit from other government schemes.
