Delhi Vidwa Pension Scheme

The Delhi Government has launched the Vidwa Pension Scheme for the welfare of widows in the state. This scheme intends to provide monthly financial assistance to the eligible widows of Delhi. The eligible beneficiaries of the scheme will receive a grant of Rs. 2500 per month from the State Government of Delhi.
Eligibility Criteria
The category of applicants listed below can apply for the scheme.

To avail the benefits of the scheme, the applicant should be a permanent resident of Delhi.

The age of the applicant should be between 18 to 60 years.

The annual income of the applicant should not be more than Rs. 1 lakh (from all sources).

The applicant should not avail any financial assistance or pension under State or Central Government relating to the widow pension scheme.

Documents Required
The documents that are required to apply for this scheme are as follows:

Identity proof like PAN card, Voter ID, Identity card etc.

Address Proof like domicile certificate, ration card, aadhar card etc.

Two Passport size photographs of the applicant.

Income certificate of the applicant.

Death Certificate of the deceased husband.

Bank account details (copy of bank passbook) of the applicant.

Delhi Old Age Pension Scheme

The Government of Delhi has launched an old age pension scheme for the benefits of the senior citizens in the state. The main objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance in the form of monthly pension to the eligible senior citizens of the state.
Documents Required
The following are the documents that have to be produced at the time of registering for this scheme:

Identity Proof: PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Driving License, Voter ID Card, etc.

Address Proof: Aadhar Card, Valid Passport, Utility bill, Property tax bill, etc.

Bank account details.

One passport size photo of the applicant.

Income self-declaration.

In case of SC/ST applicants, the caste certificate issued by Competent Authority has to be submitted in the name of the applicant.

Eligibility Criteria
The below following are the eligibility criteria required to apply for the pension scheme.

To avail the benefits under this scheme, the applicant must be the resident of Delhi state.

The applicant’s age must be 60 years and above to apply for this scheme.

The annual income of the family from all sources should be less than Rs. 1,00,000

The applicant must have a ‘single-operated’ account in any of the banks in National Capital Territory of Delhi state.

The applicant must not receive any financial assistance or pension from the Government or other local bodies of Governments.

Disability Pension Scheme

The Delhi Government has launched the Vidwa Pension Scheme for the welfare of widows in the state. This scheme intends to provide monthly financial assistance to the eligible widows of Delhi. The eligible beneficiaries of the scheme will receive a grant of Rs. 2500 per month from the State Government of Delhi.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for a disabled person to avail the benefits are as follows.

The age of the applicant should range between 18-79 years.

The applicant should be a resident of India.

The applicant should be a physically or mentally disabled person.

The applicant’s disability should be more than 40%.

Dwarfs are also eligible for this scheme.

The applicant should belong to Below Poverty Line.
